Busy…

Hello people, very busy days in the last week! I had to manage with three children, some troubles, dear Hubby travelling to China with the worst time zone for us (impossible to meet us on skype!)… but I faced it all and I can say I’m satisfied. Now it’s time for me to relax at my little cottage, before a new week comes 

Ciao a tutti, sono stati giorni molto frenetici la settimana scorsa! Ho dovuto gestire tre figli, alcuni problemi, il mio caro maritino  in viaggio in Cina con il peggior fuso orario per noi (impossibile trovarci su Skype!) … ma ho affrontato tutto e posso dire di essere soddisfatta. Finalmente ho un momento per rilassarmi nel mio cottage, prima di una nuova intensa settimana 

Sal Granny Blanket

A little bit of Appliqué

This is a present I made for my friend Adriana’s Birthday, she loves apples so when I saw this apple-applique-ed apron on an Italian sewing magazine I thought it was perfect for her  

Questo è un regalo che ho fatto per il compleanno della mia amica Adriana, che ama le mele così quando ho visto questo grembiule con la mela appliqué  sulla rivista Cucito Creativo Facile ho pensato che fosse perfetto per lei 

I used a strong cotton apron, it had two green and orange stripes that did not match with my fabric colors, so I decided to cover them with some flowered trimmings, I think  it looks more country-style now, dont’you? 

Ho usato un grembiule di cotone grezzo, aveva due strisce verdi e arancione che non c’entravano con i  colori dei miei tessuti, così ho deciso di coprirli con alcune passamanerie fiorite, credo che adesso sembri più in stile country, che ve ne pare?

SAL dell’Incontro

I just realized I still haven’t shown my first step for the SAL dell’Incontro… here it is my first cake, I hope to make the second one in time  we are almost at the end of the month, I can’t believe how quickly time has passed!

Mi sono appena accorta che non ho ancora mostrato la mia prima tappa del SAL dell’Incontro… Ecco qua la mia prima torta, spero di fare la seconda in tempo,    siamo quasi alla fine del mese, non riesco a credere quanto il tempo sia volato!
