SAL UFO 2014 and Crochet

Hi everybody, I can’t believe January has ended and also the first stage of our SAL UFO 2014.

Ciao a tutti non posso credere che Gennaio è finito e non vi ho ancora fatto vedere la fine della prima tappa del SAL UFO 2014 .

I must say I’m satisfied because I finished the 4th row of my Advent Calendar and my February goal is to complete the 5th one. They are small and easy pattern but not so cosy to stitch, maybe for the small pieces of coloured Aida (bought in the USA) that feels like cardboard! I hope I will have a good time assembling the calendar at least, I’m thinking about making it as a quilt, not in the same way as the original, without pockets (never going to put any candies inside!). Anyway, my sewing machine is still waiting for me

Devo dire che sono abbastanza soddisfatta perché ho finalmente aggiunto la quarta riga del mio Calendario dell’Avvento ed il mio proposito per Febbraio è quello di aggiungere la quinta. Sono tutti ricami piccoli e facili ma non mi entusiasma ricamarli, sarà per i piccoli pezzi di aida colorata (presi negli USA) che sembra più cartone che tela! Spero almeno che mi divertirò ad assemblarlo, la mia idea è quella di fare un quilt, non come l’originale, senza tasche (tanto non ci metterei mai le caramelle dentro!) Vabbé intanto la macchina da cucire aspetterà ancora un po’

Ta-dah!!! My new Crochet Case (obviously owlish ). No pattern for this, I was just inspired by many pictures on the web. In the past time I made some of these with the Prym Maxi knitting mill, posted them in the other blog of mine.
