Happy Recycling Holidays

Hello people, it’s almost The End of the Year, time for recycling! 🙄

What about those desk calendars you find them at the office or in the shops? At the end of each year I use to ask my colleagues for their old spiral-bound calendars, because they can turn to the cutest Scrapbooking mini albums, no need for Bind-it-all! 😉

Ciao a tutti, siamo quasi alla Fine dell’Anno, tempo di riciclo! 🙄

Avete presente quei calendari da tavolo che si trovano negli uffici o che vengono regalati dai negozi? Ogni fine anno sono famosa per chiedere ai miei colleghi di non buttare via i vecchi calendari da tavolo rilegati con la spirale, perché si trasformano in bellissimi mini album fatti con la tecnica dello Scrapbooking senza bisogno della costosissima Bind-it-all! 😉

You just cut-off the basis of the calendar and turn the back hardcover on the front and your mini album will be ready for embellisshing 🙂 You just need your favorite background paper, stickers, ribbons, glue (roller or stick will work better) and, of course, pictures of your beloved ones!

Si tratta solo di tagliare via la base del vostro calendario e girare sul davanti la copertina di dietro ed il vostro minialbum sarà pronto per essere decorato 🙂 Vi occorrono carte decorative, adesivi, nastri secondo il vostro gusto, colla (roller o in stick sono le più adatte) e, naturlamente, le foto dei vostri amati!

For the journaling you will use felted-tip pens (also useful for decorating the edges of your pages with dots or stitches) or a Dymo.

Per il journaling potete usare i pennarelli (saranno utili anche per decorare i bordi delle vostre pagine con linee di puntini o trattini tipo cuciture) oppure una macchinetta Dymo.

Instead, if you prefer, you can build your entire page with a PC Photo Editor such as Photoshop or Gimp. On the Internet you will get a lot of free digital papers and embellishments, as I suggested in some old posts such as this and that  

Invece, se preferite, potete creare le vostre pagine con un editor di immagini per PC, tipo Photoshop o Gimp. Su Internet potete trovare una pletora di carte e decorazioni gratuite, come già avevo suggerito in qualche vecchio mio post, tipo questo e quello 

At the end you can even embellish the binding with some ribbons and charms.

Alla fine potete decorare anche la spirale annodando qualche nastro con pendaglio.

Don’t forget to embellish the back cover with your logo! 😮
