Altered Clock

…because I’m a scrapper and scrappers use to say “altered” instead of “makeover” or “renewal”! ;)

Our old cheap IKEA Clock was hidden in the corner of the kitchen, nothing to do with its furniture and country style… :/

And there it is, with new face (found in this pretty blog Smells Like Mommy) and updated scrapbooking frame (heart ribbon from a craft shop in Michigan, tag made with Fiskars scalloped punchie and brad from Texas),  and a little big help from Susy (who painted the face I had to print in black and white because our printer was out-of-coloured-ink! )

Now this new, romantic and gourmand clock can stand among all other cuties on my kitchen wall :D Gotta buy some more cheap Ikea clocks to be altered for my living room and dining room and… so on!

You can find some tutorials for cute altered clocks here, here and here. So, are you ready for your own altered clock? ;)

Allora, siete pronti ad alterare i vostri vecchi orologi? ;)

Goodnight

I’m also a bit on the sleepy side because I stayed up late and then slept in and my internal clock is all cattywampus (it’s an on going issue).

So, yeah, boot cuffs. Have you made a pair or two (perhaps many more) this season? I have. I’m kinda in like with the style, if you ask me. I updated my Michelle collection to include the boot cuffs and I’m working on the Eva boot cuffs pattern (they’re being tested right now.)

The Eva will go up on my website when I hear back from my
