XSP Meeting

What a great day today!!! Me and Susy went to XSP Forum Meeting in Turin
and both had a GORGEOUS time!!!! We chatted, swapped, ate and walked around in downtown and it was so amazing to see many other crafting friends that we only met on XSP before! Here there are some shots of the xstitchers eating some of my pizza 😉 …
Che bella giornata è stata oggi! Io e Susy siamo andate al Meeting delle Crocettine Torinesi (e non solo…) di XSP!!! Abbiamo chiacchierato, swappato, mangiato e passeggiato nel centro di Torino e finalmente abbiamo conosciuto di persona un po’ di crocettine che prima conoscevamo solo attraverso il loro avatar e nickname! Ecco qualche fotina delle crocettine mentre degustano la mia pizza ;)…

And then we visited Palazzo Madama, the beautiful Palace in the center of Turin standing on the ancient ruines of the Middle Ages. We seated in the hall making some noise… guardians looked at us wondering what we were talking about…

E poi abbiamo visitato il bellissimo e storico Palazzo Madama, ci siamo sedute nell’ingresso a chiacchierare e far casino e tutte le guardie ci guardavano strano chiedendosi di che caspita stavamo parlando…

And then we took a walk through Via Garibaldi and had an icecream (yummie!)…
E poi ci siamo prese un bel gelato mentre andavamo a passeggio nella elegante Via Garibaldi (yummie!)…

We also made a little SWAP, the theme was THE SUMMER, Susy joined it too!
Look at this marvellous miniquilt that I received from Annalia, stitched on Aida 72 with one strand… I love it!!! she also gave me some sea-themed fabrics and
embellishments, GORGEOUS!!!

In occasione del meeting avevamo organizzato uno swap a tema ESTATE, ha partecipato anche la Susy!

Guardate che splendido miniquilt ho ricevuto da parte di Annalia, ricamato su AIDA 72 ad un filo…Mi sono subito innamorata!!! Insieme al pannello c’erano anche delle stoffine con disegni marittimi e degli abbellimenti a salvagente, CHE
SPLENDORE!!!

And this is the beautiful bag that Susy received from Simonetta, filled with a bit
of sweeties, teabags and a little country panel…mmm I guess I cannot steal them from my daughter, huh???
E questa è la splendida borsa che la Susy ha ricevuto da Simonetta, assieme ad una serie di bustine di té e dolcetti ed un quadretto country… mmmm mi sa che non posso rubarla proprio a mia figlia, vero???

I’m sorry but we finished our swaps this morning and we forgot to take a
picture…😳
Spiacente ma i nostri swap li abbiamo terminati giusto stamattina e per la fretta ci siamo dimenticate di fotografarli…😳

And then….. aaaaaaah we got home and took a relaxing break after the walk (with
teabags and sweeties from the swap ;))
E poi……. aaaaaaah siamo tornate a casa e ci siamo rilassate davanti ad una bella tazza di té ed ai dolcetti ricevuti dallo swap ;))
